Gyms Don’t Work

Recent research from the press and Sainsbury’s Bank confirms what every other decent Personal Trainer and I have always known. Gyms don’t work.

Sainsbury’s estimate that Britons waste £200 million a year on gym memberships they don’t use. The actual figures estimate around a 60% drop out rate for fitness clubs in levels of member attendance. So where does the future lie?

I predict that the growth of corporate personal training will explode this year with decent personal trainers being in short supply, so why not secure your own personal trainer now? Personal Training is a cost effective way to get top quality fitness programmes and expertise individually or as a group.

How does it work?

There are different types of personal trainers and not all offer the same level of expertise and support, so shop around. The best ones should have references, insurance and a full fitness questionnaire for you to complete before starting, which forms the basis of your programme. They then offer ongoing support and motivation to help you reach and maintain your realistic goals. With Core Fitness you get your own bespoke fitness programme plus nutritional tips and information to help you understand what your body needs.

Nothing can beat having you own personal trainer to help motivate and support you in achieving and maintaining your health and fitness goals.

Everything that we do is based on evidence & science not fads.

What do you get?

  • Individually tailored exercise programmes for you
  • Constant feedback & assessment
  • Pressure tests for your fitness level and assessments
  • Direct contact with your Personal Trainer
  • Expert advice on health and fitness
  • Access to equipment and products to assist your training
